What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL database systems tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and project managers to understand and refine database requirements.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, ensuring data integrity.
- Perform in-depth data analysis and modeling to accurately represent business data.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate SQL code into applications and systems.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SQL development techniques and industry trends.
What You’ll Bring:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- A strong grasp of relational database concepts and database management systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive attitude toward learning and staying current with emerging SQL technologies.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with database administration tasks (backup, recovery, security, user access).
