The Role
- Play a key role in the backend development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment and monitoring.
- Drive technical and architectural decisions, optimising system performance, scalability, and security.
- Mentor and guide other engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and best practices.
- Enhance system efficiency and reliability, ensuring robust security and high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Frontend, and Security, to deliver seamless solutions.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of backend development experience with expertise in Golang or Java.
- Proven experience designing and scaling complex, data-intensive systems (databases, event-driven systems, messaging architectures).
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native development.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Leadership qualities with a strategic mindset and a passion for mentoring and team growth.
