Role Overview:
This role is ideal for an experienced .NET Developer with a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support global IoT operations. Working within a collaborative team, you will contribute to API development, cloud integration, and system architecture while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain .NET applications that support IoT connectivity services.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions.
- Debug, optimise, and enhance existing applications.
- Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) to deploy and manage applications.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and relational database design.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Entity Framework Core and ORM principles.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with IoT systems and network protocols.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
- Understanding of authentication and security best practices.
