The Role
Are you an expert in .NET, cloud architecture, and high-performance systems? Do you excel at designing scalable, resilient microservices and optimising complex software ecosystems? As a Lead Software Architect, you will:
- Design & implement high-performance, scalable .NET applications for IoT services.
- Architect and optimise microservices-driven cloud solutions using Azure/AWS.
- Enhance system reliability & security, ensuring fault tolerance and high availability.
- Lead API strategy, defining best practices for RESTful services and integrations.
- Drive DevOps & CI/CD excellence, refining automation, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and deployment strategies.
- Mentor and guide development teams, promoting best practices in software architecture and engineering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
What You Bring
- 10+ years’ experience in software development with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
- Proven expertise in cloud architecture (Azure/AWS), designing and managing scalable, distributed applications.
- Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first development.
- Experience with SQL Server & NoSQL databases, optimising query performance and data storage strategies.
- Strong DevOps mindset, with experience in CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation.
- Security-focused approach, ensuring best practices in authentication, authorisation, and data protection.
- A problem-solving mindset, capable of leading architectural discussions and driving innovation.
Bonus Points For:
- IoT expertise, understanding network protocols, telemetry data, and device communication.
- Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka) for event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on experience with serverless computing and cloud-native technologies.
