The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Manager to join a high-performing corporate finance team and develop their financial modelling career in a genuinely deal-focused environment. You will work alongside experienced senior practitioners on a range of complex transactions, building your technical capability and commercial awareness in equal measure. For the right person, this role offers a clear and realistic path to Manager level as the firm continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop financial models across a range of transaction types and corporate finance mandates
  • Support deal teams across M&A, debt advisory, restructuring and other advisory projects
  • Assist in translating financial data into clear outputs for clients and senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to the review and quality assurance of modelling work
  • Support pitch and proposal development, bringing modelling insight to new business activity
  • Work closely with senior team members to ensure modelling outputs align with deal strategy

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Financial modelling experience gained within corporate finance, transaction services or a similar advisory environment
  • Big 4 or equivalent training preferred
  • Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Exposure to a range of transaction types including M&A, debt advisory or restructuring
  • Experience working on cross-border or multi-jurisdictional transactions
  • An interest in developing a long-term career within corporate finance advisory
