The Role

This is a hands-on finance role working closely with the Financial Controller across transactional finance, month-end processes and commercial reporting. You'll be a key part of a busy team, supporting multiple entities within the group and taking real ownership of day-to-day finance activity. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure and is looking to develop their career within a growing, multi-site business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts across multiple entities
  • Support purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll processes
  • Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts on a regular basis
  • Assist with VAT returns, Intrastat and fixed asset management
  • Process month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Support credit control and customer account reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy finance or accounts environment
  • Part-qualified or qualified with CIMA, ACCA or ACA
  • Experience using Sage 200
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to work on-site in Belfast city centre
