This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT Systems Support professional to take the lead in systems support and service delivery. Managing IT operations, support critical business systems, and drive service improvements in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide 2nd & 3rd line IT support, managing incidents, service requests, and changes.
· Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring minimal downtime and high service levels.
· Collaborate with third-party providers and internal teams to optimise system performance.
· Drive service improvements, automation, and best practices across IT operations.
· Oversee the development and implementation of new IT systems and enhancements.
· Serve as a subject matter expert in IT support and infrastructure.
What You Need:
· Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
· 10+ years’ experience in IT, with 5-7 years in systems support/development.
· Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.
· Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
· Knowledge of RPG, MS-Access, MS-SQL, .Net, or Qlikview.
· Familiarity with ITIL, system monitoring, and infrastructure management.
· Experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, virtualisation, and backup technologies - desirable
