A Network & Security Cloud Architect is needed to join a global SaaS organisation. Day to day this Architect will design, implement, and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, performance, and compliance.
You will bring a strong background in cloud computing, network design, and security best practices, along with expertise in AWS networking and security services.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the design and management of our secure cloud network architecture.
· Ensure compliance and mitigate risks by applying security principles and best practices.
· Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to enhance scalability and automation.
· Optimise cloud network performance, resilience, and scalability.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security throughout the software lifecycle.
· Lead incident response and continuous threat monitoring efforts.
· Build strong internal and external relationships to drive collaborative success.
Qualifications:
· Extensive AWS networking and security experience, including tools like AWS Transit Gateway, AWS WAF, and GuardDuty.
· Proficient in network security protocols and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
· Experience with Terraform and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD).
· Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCNP Security, AWS Certified Security – Specialty) are a plus.
· Strong communication and leadership abilities with a collaborative approach.
