Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, ensuring scalable infrastructure to support business growth.
- Integration & Transformation: Lead the seamless integration of IT systems and infrastructure across newly acquired businesses, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compatibility.
- Project Delivery: Manage the end-to-end delivery of high-impact IT projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are consistently met.
- IT Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain secure, reliable, and future-proof IT infrastructure that drives performance and business continuity.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous development.
- Tech Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance operations, boost productivity, and create competitive advantages. Cloud migration experience would be a distinct advantage.
- Vendor Management: Develop strong vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to maximize value and ensure optimal return on IT investments.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure the organization’s data security and privacy protocols are industry-leading and compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to safeguard operations.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role with a track record of driving successful IT transformations ( on prem or systems integrator to Cloud of particular interest ).
- Strong expertise in building, managing, and scaling IT infrastructures, including security, networking, and cloud solutions.
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and system integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop IT teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- A strategic mindset, with a focus on leveraging technology to deliver business results.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience with budget management.
Desirable:
- Experience in the distrubution or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and DevOps practices.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
