I am working with a leading IT and cybersecurity provider, who require a Cybersecurity Analyst to join due to growth across the business.
This position supports the Security Operations Center (SOC) on a hybrid schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 9pm BST, based ifrom the Belfast office.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor and respond to security incidents within a 24/7/365 SOC
· Analyse security threats and recommend mitigation strategies
· Collaborate with technical teams to investigate and resolve cybersecurity issues
· Draft root cause analysis reports and assist with threat hunting and malware analysis
· Ensure secure logging practices and deploy security solutions
· Stay updated on emerging security technologies
Qualifications:
· Experience with SIEM platforms (Alien Vault, QRadar, ArcSight)
· Knowledge of public cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
· Strong understanding of network security and endpoint protection
· Linux command line experience
· Prior experience in a SOC – 1+ year
· Certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, or Security+ preferred
