The Opportunity:
Ocho are delighted to be working on a Senior Microsoft Security Architect role with a Global Law firm.
In this role you’ll leverage your technical expertise to ensure the secure design, implementation, and development of the M365 environment. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting and enforcing policies that safeguard and enhance the availability of our M365 applications.
As a Senior Microsoft Security Architect, you will:
- Design, architect, and implement a secure M365 environment.
- Lead the adoption of Microsoft cloud security technologies.
- Serve as the SME for Microsoft security suite, focusing on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365.
- Integrate identity and access management controls within M365.
- Architect and implement secure logging and event management for M365 services.
- Utilize Microsoft Purview for integrated data security, including encryption, classification, and labelling.
- Govern Microsoft Entra ID and provide executive-level security posture and compliance reports.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or substantial equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in leading secure Microsoft security service adoption for M365.
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft Defender Suite, including Defender for Cloud, Office, Identity, and Cloud Apps.
- Strong background in integrating identity and access management controls in M365.
- Expertise in event management and secure logging for M365 services.
- Ability to provide comprehensive M365 security posture and compliance reports to executive levels.
- Excellent analytical skills, adept at gathering and analysing data, formulating conclusions, and promoting effective solutions.
- Exceptional oral and written English communication skills.
