About the role
Our client is a next-generation Cloud Security Platform, using runtime context to identify and prioritise critical risks and deliver precise, efficient cloud security management.
You'll be joining a small, close-knit DevOps team delivering CI/CD and scalable infrastructure across the business, using a modern stack including Kubernetes, Terraform, Argo, Helm and ElasticSearch.
You'll be joining an existing AWS focused DevOps engineer, so strong Azure and/or GCP experience would be a great complement to the team.
Responsibilities
- Work end to end across all features within the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and product features
- Contribute to the product's architectural and infrastructure design, evaluating and implementing new cloud technologies and open-source tools to improve delivery and availability
- Help plan and drive scaling efforts across DevEx and infrastructure
- Take responsibility for stable, scalable execution of product feature infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain production infrastructure
Requirements
- 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer on a production, high-scale distributed system in a Linux environment
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and its OSS ecosystem
- Experience scaling database and queuing infrastructure (Elasticsearch, MySQL, Neo4j, Postgres/Timescale, RabbitMQ, Redis or similar)
- Extensive cloud experience on production systems, ideally with Azure and/or GCP
- An automation-first mindset
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt, CDK or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Helm
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash or Go)
- Ability to learn quickly and implement cutting-edge technologies
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of the Prometheus monitoring stack (Grafana, AlertManager, VictoriaMetrics)
- Hands-on experience across multiple cloud vendors
