Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer

The Role:
We are recruiting an IAM Engineer to join a growing security function in a lean, high-impact environment. This role offers genuine ownership, supporting the expansion of IAM and PAM capabilities while reducing key-person risk.
You'll work hands-on onboarding applications, improving IAM coverage, and supporting audits in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IAM & PAM solutions across cloud and on-prem
- Own user and application onboarding/offboarding, improving automation and UX
- Support SSO, MFA, access provisioning, and Joiner/Mover/Leaver workflows
- Administer IAM platforms and directory services (AD / Entra ID)
- Perform access reviews, attestations, and support audit activity
- Enhance IAM architecture aligned to Zero Trust principles
- Maintain IAM documentation, SOPs, and standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on IAM initiatives
Experience:
- 4+ years' experience in IAM / PAM engineering
- Strong knowledge of IAM principles, Zero Trust, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with Okta (preferred), CyberArk, SailPoint, or similar tools
- Solid AD & Azure AD (Entra ID) experience
- Knowledge of SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, CLI)
- Able to work independently and support audits
- Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams
