Senior Software Developer - Lisburn (Hybrid / On-Site)
Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | 37.5 hrs/week

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a small, agile team delivering business-critical software solutions. This is a hands-on full-stack role with a strong emphasis on the .NET ecosystem. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, influence architectural and tooling decisions, and play a key role in both maintaining core systems and developing new product features.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain internal and client-facing applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and related technologies
Lead the delivery of new features, applying modern DevOps practices including Docker, AWS ECS, and CI/CD pipelines
Refactor and optimise legacy systems to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability
Mentor junior developers through code reviews, guidance, and shared best practices
Collaborate with business teams to turn requirements into well-engineered solutions
Contribute to technical decision-making, architectural planning, and documentation
What You'll Bring:
3-5+ years' commercial experience in software development, ideally within regulated or B2B sectors
Proficiency in:
C# / .NET Core / .NET Framework
Angular or similar front-end frameworks
MS SQL, Entity Framework, MVC
Docker, AWS ECS, CI/CD workflows
Experience designing RESTful APIs and managing data flows
A track record of mentoring junior engineers and encouraging team-wide best practices
Familiarity with Git and version control, Agile processes, and modern delivery pipelines
