Network Engineer - Belfast
£40,000 - £50,000 + benefits
We're working with a global technology firm operating in a high-uptime, low-latency environment to help them hire a Network Engineer for their growing Belfast office. This role plays a key part in supporting their infrastructure, ensuring stability and resilience across client and vendor connectivity, and contributing to broader network operations initiatives.
You'll join a collaborative team that spans both the US and UK, helping to monitor network performance, support failover and disaster recovery testing, and assist with network provisioning projects. This role suits someone early in their networking career who is keen to develop in a high-standards environment where uptime and security are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network health, performance, and uptime
Provide Level 1 support for connectivity issues with clients and vendors
Support co-located client infrastructure and respond to incidents
Conduct regular disaster recovery and failover testing
Assist with network design, provisioning, and documentation
Maintain security measures and help implement improvements
Experience Required:
Experience in network engineering or infrastructure support
Familiarity with Cisco CLI and general networking concepts
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Experience working in fast-paced or critical environments desirable
Comfortable working onsite 3 days per week in central Belfast
