What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the development of a high-performance, unified mobile platform using React Native

  • Integrate and modernise existing applications into a cohesive product experience

  • Build shared libraries and infrastructure for themes, auth flows, host apps, onboarding, and common navigation

  • Collaborate across design, product, and engineering to shape reusable patterns and cross-functional standards

  • Optimise mobile performance across iOS and Android, diagnosing issues and improving reliability

  • Own and advocate for testing, quality, and performance best practices within mobile

  • Comfortable collaborating closely with backend teams to align API design with mobile constraints

  • Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills on both iOS and Android platforms

  • Experience leading cross-platform teams or high-impact initiatives from design through delivery

  • Capable of working autonomously while mentoring others and raising team-wide technical standards

Bonus Experience

  • Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks for mobile

  • Track record of mobile performance optimisation at scale

  • Past involvement in large-scale app migrations or platform consolidations

Traits for Success

  • User-centric thinker who values clean interfaces and intuitive flows

  • Acts as a technical multiplier-uplifts others through clarity and thought leadership

  • Strong communicator across time zones and disciplines

  • Highly organised and quality-obsessed; balances velocity with thoughtful execution

  • Humble and collaborative-comfortable navigating ambiguity in high-trust teams

This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of architecture and user experience-who wants to shape the future of mobile through technology that genuinely impacts performance.
